Mastercard has patented the method of accelerated processing of crypto-currency transactions

Payment giant Mastercard received a patent for a method that allows to speed up the processing time of crypto-currency transactions.

The method includes the appearance of a new type of account for user accounts. Thanks to it, transactions with crypto currency can be carried out through existing payment mechanisms and security systems used for transactions with fiat currencies.

The account will include a series of portfolios that hold information about the sums of fiat money and user's crypto, ID and address.

Also, technology will help the payment network to assess the likelihood of fraudulent schemes and risks in the implementation of transactions. To do this, the system will examine the data of credit bureaus, demographic information, as well as historical data on transactions in the detachment.

Earlier ForkLog reported that in June, Mastercard patented the system for making anonymous transactions in the block-network.
